Matthew Friedlander is an art director, matte painter and concept designer based out of Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of Southern California’s Department of Animation and Digital Arts where he studied a wide array of disciplines including film, architecture and fine art. He specializes in creating highly realistic environments at every step of production, from concept to final shot, and has led teams in creating high-quality assets used throughout challenging sequences. Most recently he has served as visual effects art director on a number of projects, including the critically-acclaimed Little Women (2019).
